Native American Facts

Osiyo! Hello!

My name is

in English: RubyDancingmoon

in Tsalagi (Cherokee): QuuquiNvdaalisgia

Here it is my intention to have as many facts as possible about the Native American way of life. Not just the Tsalagi of whom I am proud to be but from all Native nations.

You will find articles relating to history, arts&crafts, legends, stories, quotes and other things I think will be of interest.

All articles submitted here will have been researched and checked as fully as possible, with copyright, credit and sources listed where possible. If you find something that should have your copyright on it and it is missing please tell me and I will either remove it or add the copyright as you wish.

If you find anything amiss, please contact me and I will endeavor to change/correct or withdraw that which is found to be incorrect.

Some of my pages have Native music playing, if you do not wish to listen simply scroll to the bottom of the page where you can cancel or mute it.

I personally do not like the term "Indian". It is only used on this site in places where it would be wrong for me to change the information as I received it.

Please note: Due to the volume of research needed this site will take time to build - check back often to see what's new, and thank you for your patience.

Wado! Thank You!

MAY THE WARM WINDS OF HEAVEN
BLOW SOFTLY UPON YOUR HOUSE.
MAY THE GREAT SPIRIT BLESS
ALL WHO ENTER THERE.
MAY YOUR MOCCASINS MAKE
HAPPY TRACKS IN MANY SNOWS,
AND MAY THE RAINBOW
ALWAYS TOUCH YOUR SHOULDER.
